How ManoIP.com handles data, cookies, analytics and third-party services.

ManoIP.com provides free IP and network tools. We process the minimum data needed to show your public IP, run lookups and diagnostics, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate site traffic.

What we process

  • Your public IP address — shown on the home page and used for geolocation / ASN (via GeoLite2), reverse DNS where applicable, and security rate limits.
  • Tool query inputs you submit (for example domain, IP, URL, MAC, ASN) — processed to return results. We do not require an account.
  • Security / abuse controls — short-lived rate-limit counters and session data so tools cannot be flooded.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — used on abuse-sensitive tools (WHOIS, DNS, scanners, SSL, headers, email auth, and similar). Cloudflare may process your IP and browser signals to issue a challenge token.
  • Usage measurement — Google Analytics (measurement ID G-VPG6EYCJ68) loads on pages to measure aggregate traffic. See Cookies below.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use tool query history to build marketing profiles.

Cookies and local storage

The cookie banner still lets you accept all, open settings, or reject non-essential functional preferences. Rejecting non-essential does not disable Google Analytics.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is embedded site-wide and runs for all visitors (not gated behind an opt-in). Google may process device/browser data and approximate location according to Google’s privacy policy. We use it only for aggregated traffic insights.

Third-party services used by tools

Depending on the tool you use, requests may involve:

  • MaxMind GeoLite2 — local IP → geo / ASN data. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot / abuse protection on selected forms (Cloudflare privacy).
  • RIPE Stat (and similar public routing APIs) — ASN / announced-prefix lookups.
  • Public DNS resolvers (for example Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, AdGuard) — DNS propagation checks.
  • Remote probe servers we operate or control — ping, traceroute and port scans you request; probes see the target you enter and return results to our app.
  • Speed test — embedded third-party speed test (Ookla Speedtest Custom iframe). Using that tool loads the provider’s scripts and may set their own cookies under their terms.
  • Maps (home page, when you expand the map) — may load map tiles from a third-party map provider.

Email-auth and similar DNS-only tools query public DNS records only; we do not send mail on your behalf.

Retention

  • Rate-limit and short-lived security state: minutes.
  • Cookie / localStorage consent preferences: up to about 12 months (or until you clear site data).
  • We do not keep long-term per-user archives of every WHOIS/DNS query for profiling.

Your choices

  • Clear site cookies and localStorage in your browser to reset the cookie notice.
  • Use browser controls or Google’s tools if you want to limit Analytics more broadly; on this site Analytics is not offered as an off switch.
